A six-week online course that prepares undergraduate students and graduates of higher learning institutions to work as competent, ethical research assistants. Learners study research design, ethics, sampling, questionnaires and interviews, digital data collection with KoboToolbox and ODK, data management, and basic analysis in SPSS and NVivo. 12 live Zoom sessions (2 per week) plus guided self-study. Fee: TSh 50,000. Successful learners receive a Certificate of Participation and join the USARETCO register of research assistants.
