This division serves organisations that need evidence for decisions and researchers who want to publish.
We conduct baseline studies, needs assessments, tracer studies, programme evaluations and policy reviews for organisations and public institutions. We design the study, collect and analyse the data, and deliver a report with evidence-based recommendations.
We guide protocol development, search strategies, screening, data extraction, synthesis and appropriate reporting, including PRISMA flow diagrams where applicable. Researchers conduct and document their own review decisions and remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the evidence reported.
We guide researchers in developing articles from their own dissertations and theses, identifying suitable journals and preparing responses to reviewers. Guidance covers authorship, citation accuracy and disclosure of assistance. Researchers write and approve their manuscripts; publication or acceptance is not guaranteed.
We guide the preparation of ethics applications, participant information sheets and consent forms. Approval is issued only by the relevant authorised body; our guidance does not replace ethical review or permission to collect data.
We guide researchers and organisations in developing proposals, work plans and budgets grounded in their own project ideas and evidence. Applicants remain responsible for the accuracy of their submissions and compliance with funder requirements.
